She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lowry and Emma Smith Lowry; her husband Durell Nichols; and her brothers, Edward, Richard, Ronnie, Melvin and Larry Lowry.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Nichols (Dee Ann) of Houston, TX., David Nichols (Melissa) of Prattville, Alabama and Pamela Shoptaw (Tony) of Benton; her sisters, Rosemary Littleton (Walter) of Fort Scott, Kansas and Carol Sue Lowry of Fort Scott, Kansas; her grandchildren, Lance Nichols, Shelby Nichols, Derek Shoptaw, Nick Shoptaw, Alli McDonald, Janna Morgan, Brandon Nichols, Hannah McCall and Wesley Nichols; her great grandchild Numerous; and her pet Abby. She is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews and her favorite companion.
