He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burks and Myrtle Green Burks; and his siblings, Gail Burks, Lloyd Burks, Leard Burks, Bonnie Kuhn and Pauline Saling.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Crutchfield; his daughters, Teresa Lewis (Danny) of Traskwood and Tracy Chandler (Mickey) of Glen Rose; his siblings, Bo Burks (Martha) of Benton and Rilla McCaslin (Russ) of Visalia, California; and his grandchildren, Dustyn Lewis, Devin Lewis, Caitlyn Chandler and Cody Chandler. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
