He was predeceased by: his parents, Ola Gammill (Martin) and Earl Gammill; his former wife Gennetta Branscum Gammill; his siblings, Harvey Gammill, Guy Gammill and Dorothy McGehee; and his stepson Ronnie Brightwell.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Gammill; his sister Nola Morrison of Timbo, Arkansas; his children, Mark Gammill (Vickie) of Clinton, Arkansas and Sondra Cownie (Bill) of Denver; his stepdaughters, Denise Storey (Tim) of Mountain View, Arkansas and Dayna Trammell (Jackie) of Newnata, Arkansas; his grandchildren, James Gammill (Arista), Allison Harris (Kevin), Jeffrey Gammill (Kayla), Lauren Cownie and Haley Cownie; and his stepgrandchildren, Misty, Brandi, Josh Brightwell, Kristy Storey, Shanya McIntire (Jeremy) and Tracey Kelner (Kelly). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and 9 step great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
