She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Cox and Elsie Nichols Cox; and her husband Bill T. James. She is survived by: her daughter Stacia Williams (Jimmy) of Bearden; her stepson Bill Ed James (Donna) of Fordyce; her grandchildren, Stephanie James and John James (Jessica); and her great grandchildren, Kynlee and Deacon James.
