He is survived by: his wife Kathie Carter; his daughter Lindsey; his son-in-law Vernon Sooter of Texas; his stepsons, Robert Gilbert of Ashdown and Chad Gilbert of Glenwood; his granddaughter Ainsley Trejo of Texas; his sister Vicki Carter of Texarkana; and his niece Tonya Allen. He is also survived by her boys, as well as many more family members and friends.
