With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivian Marlar of Texarkana, Arkansas, who passed away on November 6, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward McDowell and Dorothy McDowell; her brother Eddie McDowell; and her close friend John Coleman. She is survived by: her former spouse Jerry Wayne Thomas; her daughter Cherie Lynnette Thomas (Randy) of Frisco; her husband Sonny Marlar; her daughter Chrystal Marlar Broll (Jeff) of Texarkana, Texas; her grandchildren, Alex Bobb, Austin, Brayden Upchurch of Texarkana and Emma Lynn Broll of Texarkana, Texas; and her siblings, Bobby McDowell (Nancy) of Texarkana, AR., George McDowell (Beth) of Buckner, AR. and Martha Benefield of Texarkana, AR.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
