It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Marie Allen of Texarkana, Arkansas, born in Tioga, Louisiana, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Beene and Zettie Beene; her son James Ponder II; and her siblings, Shelby Rockwell, James Beene and Tilman Beene.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Allen; her daughters, Kimberly (Wiley Peters), Rebecca (John Sneed) and Angela (Earl Lindsey); her grandchildren, James Coker, Katy Arias, Nathaniel Peters, Alex Peters, Tara McConaughey, Jonathon Sneed, Nate Sneed, Christopher Sneed, Shannon Ponder, James Ponder, Fallon Sariah, Kandes Ponder, Corey Ponder, Caleb Wilson, Colton Wilson, Chase Wilson and Harley Peters; and her sisters, Hazel Tidwell (Tim), Dessie Ponder, Jackie Westcott (Lee) and Dovie Beene. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
