He is survived by: his wife Jane Vardell; his children, Stan Vardell (Lori) and Vickie Steward (Brian); his stepson Ryan McBride; his siblings, Benny Vardell, Linda Faries and Kim Lee (Bob); his grandchildren, Jordan Vardell (Emily), Branum Vardell (Susan), Cade Vardell, Adison Vardell, Zach McBride, Evan Steward and Joshua Steward; his great grandchildren, Cameron Vardell, Reese Vardell and Izzy Mae Vardell; and his child Clayton Ave.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Shriners' Hospital for Children, 4400 Clayton Ave., St. Louis, MO 63310.
