She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Nathaniel Lancaster Rodgers; her parents, William Thomas Murphy Jr. and Bonnie Marie Murphy; her sister-in-law Kay Murphy; and her niece Sally Murphy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Goldman (Gary), Julie Lindsey (Daniel) and Sally Sue Whaley (Alex); her grandchildren, Michael Wasp (Avery), Martha Wasp (Aaron Buck), Ben Foster (Lauren), Amelia Whaley and Alex Whaley; her great grandchildren, Maddox and Parker Foster; and her brothers, William Thomas Murphy III (Imogene) and James Richard Murphy.
