We bid farewell to Ruth Ann Sims of Texarkana, Arkansas, born in Bloomburg, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 1, 2024 at the age of 91. Ruth Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Ruth Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruth Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Clements and Marvin Clements; her husband Herman Sims; her sons, Cecil Sims and Kenneth Sims; and her grandson Johnny Wayne Clements.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Hammon (Doug) of Fairfield Bay, AR, Randy Sims (Karen) of Texarkana, Brenda Westbrook (Johnny) of Texarkana and John Clements of Texarkana. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
