He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Smith and Cora Smith; and his former wife JoAnn Wright Smith. He is survived by: his wife Lera Smith of Oklahoma; his daughters, Geni Douglass (David) of Colorado and Kimberley Meek (Don) of Arkansas; his grandchildren, Brandon Martindale, Josh Martindale, Bradley Meek, Nathan Carrell, Julia Meek, Jared Carrell (Haylee), Eric Clayton (Tiffany), Ashley Carrell and Annie McGregor (Ryan); and his siblings, Geneva Bowlin, Fred Smith (Mary) and Marie Harris. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
