She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Pliester and Henrietta Pliester; her husband Craig Messner of Texarkana, AR; and her siblings, Marilynn Taft of Chandler, AZ and Dale Pliester of Gilmer, TX..
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Plyler (Brad) of Texarkana, AR and Cathy Heldt (Keith) of Bivins, TX; her grandchildren, Jacob, Kaitlynn, Sarah Plyler and Emily Heldt; her brother Donald Pliester (Sharon) of Cedar Rapids, IA; and her close friend Gail Ehlers of Oelwein, IA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, a number of other relatives, and friends.
