It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Lee Story of Texarkana, Arkansas, born in Scottsboro, Alabama, who passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Hasting and Amanda Jane Dulaney Hasting; her babies, Michelle Lynn and Darrell William; and her siblings, Richard Mills and Helen Tucker.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Story of Texarkana, Arkansas; her son Rodney Story of Seattle, Washington; her stepdaughters, Stacy Smith (Bob) of Yukon and Kim Santacruz of Little Rock, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Leo Story and Ardrinne Story; her siblings, Kenneth Hastings of Memphis, Tennessee and Barbara Hastings of Bend, Oregon; and her stepgrandchildren, Stacy and Mike Santacruz of Little Rock. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
