He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Philyaw Bellew; and his grandsons, Scott Satterfield and Benjamin Raymond. He is survived by: his son Wayne; his daughter-in-law Marilyn Bellew of Texarkana; his daughters, Carolyn (Willie Satterfield), Jo Ann (Jimmie Rowe), Barbara (Danny Hill) and Shirley (Gary Glover); and his sister Beatrice Edmond of Shreveport. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
