He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Aline Taylor and Brucey Young; his adoptive father Eugene (Agnes Hagood); his wife Lavonne Hagood; and his son Jeremy Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Hagood (Jessica) of Texarkana, AR, Steve Hagood of DeQueen, AR, Jake Hagood of DeQueen, AR, Laura White of DeQueen, AR, Melissa Walraven (Jeff) of Texarkana, AR and Glenda Hagood of DeQueen, AR.; his stepson Bart Clark (Linda) of Grandview, TX; and his siblings, Willie Mae Simpson and Howard Lee Whitley. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
