He is survived by: his wife Gail Johnson Burns of Texarkana; his son Quinn Burns; his stepchildren, J. W. (Cindy Coker) and Renee Green (Timmy) of Texarkana; his grandchildren, Grant Burns, Sydney Burns, Blake Burns, Rae Ann Green and Tabitha Cogan; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Jasper and Natalie; and his sister Bernice McFerrin of Fouke.
