It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba Hughes (Texarkana, Arkansas), born in Fouke, Arkansas, who passed away on July 5, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Jerry Ethridge. She is survived by: her children, Ron Ethridge of Mt. Pleasant, Debra Sanderson of Broken Arrow and Katherine Carnathan of Texarkana; her brother Ray Odum of Fouke; and her grandchildren, Phil Chaney, Jeri Chaney, Shannon Hamby, Crystal Ethridge and Jennifer Rowell. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
