He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Mattson and Katherine Mattson Lawler; and his siblings, Charles Mattson, Roy Mattson, Ray Mattson, Billy-Carroll Mattson, Calvin Mattson, Betty Ann Crabtree, Irene Miller Follis and Patricia Mattson.
He is survived by: his brothers, Burt "Wayne" Mattson and Robert L. Mattson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives.
