He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Delton "Tan" Richard, Sr. and Betty Dugas Derouen; his brothers, Marcus and Herschel Richard; his nephews, Blake Boudreaux and Brian Turner; his niece Rebecca Boudreaux Aguillard; his children, Jared, Brandon Richard and Jennifer Richard; his grandchildren, James, Jewell and Gabriel Richard; his siblings, Charlene Carter, Melinda Turner, Dellena (Tony McLean) and Delton Richard Jr.; his sister-in-law Sheila Morrison-Richard; and his goddaughter Lacy Lynn Rochon of Texarkana. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
