He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leroy and Marie Newsome Sr.; and his wife Louise Newsome of Texarkana, AR. He was also cherished by 5 Children, 8 Step Children; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Legion Post 58 of Texarkana.
