As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Magnuson-Dueitt and William "Wig" Dueitt; his siblings, Frank Stoddard, Charlie Dueitt and Cheryl Dueitt; and his grandson Logan McConnell.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Stoddard; his children, Bradley McConnell and Megan McConnell-Dorras; and his siblings, Mike Stoddard, Tim Stoddard and Kelly Dueitt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ferguson Park (3000 Texas Blvd, Texarkana, TX 75503). A reception was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
