He is survived by: his son Hobson Dewey Beavers, Jr.; his mother Mary S. Davis; his children, Stephen Scott Beavers of Durham and Whitney Reed of Incline Village, Nevada; his sister Nita Beth Beavers of Friendswood, Texas; his grandson Wyatt Reed; his stepsiblings, Larry Davis (Peggy) of Texarkana, AR, Terry Davis of Fort Smith, AR and Diane LaVoice of Texarkana, AR; and his sister-in-law Gail Davis of Fayetteville, AR..
