He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hood of Texarkana; his sons, Tim Hood of Texarkana and Jeff Hood of Texarkana; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Purcell of Meridian, Bo Moore of Lubbock, Elan Hood, Taylor Hood of Scottsdale, Whitney Rogers of Mandan, Jonathan Hood and Ethan Hood of Texarkana.
