He was predeceased by: his parents, Dempsey Ward and Mary Hobbs Ward; his wife Lois Faye Ward; and his daughter Loretta Ward. He is survived by: his son Jim Ward (Yong Suh); and his siblings, Winford Ward (Irene), Roy Ward, Ellis Ward (Janet), Tinnie Louise, Viola and Myrtrice. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
