It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry M. Bassett of Texarkana, Arkansas, who passed away on April 24, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Maurine Bassett; and his siblings, Don Bassett and Elsie Green. He is survived by: his son-in-law Jeri M. Bearden (Brad); the mother of his children Lala Bassett; his grandchildren, Ashley Lewicki (Aaron), Colton Chapman and Cameryn Chapman; his great grandchildren, Gavin Lewicki, Callan Lewicki and Cash Chapman; his brothers, Bill Bassett and Kevin Bassett; his close friend Marianne Henderson; and his friend Raymond (Sue Wilson). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Texarkana Baptist Childrens Home or to Texarkana Resources for the Disabled.
