Jerry Lee Lewis Obituary

Mr. Jerry Lee Lewis, age 76, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Wednesday, January 15, 2020. Mr. Lewis was born November 27, 1943, in Texarkana, Arkansas, to Ervin and Winnie Coker Lewis, and had been a lifetime resident. He was a Christian, retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company and was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Ilene Kemp, a brother, Junior Lewis., and his wife, Mary Jo Daniel Lewis.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Andy and Keith Tefteller of Texarkana, Arkansas, one son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Tami Lewis of Texarkana, Arkansas, one brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Becky Lewis of Texarkana, Arkansas, one brother-in-law, Luke Kemp of Texarkana, Arkansas, one sister-in-law, Pat Rains of Queen City, Texas, a special friend, Betty Satterfield, Texarkana, Texas, four grandchildren, Danaka Thomas (Eric), Emily Howard (Adam), Kayleigh Lewis, and Kolby Lewis, and three great-grandchildren, Makenzie Thomas, Andrew Thomas, and Jase Howard.

A celebration of his life will be at 10:00 A. M. Saturday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Rev. Keith Tefteller officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 PM until 8 PM Friday. The family will be at the Tefteller residence, 3306 Hastings Crossing, Texarkana, Arkansas.
