He was predeceased by: his father Roy Stepp; his son Brady Bennet; his sister Rhonda Bumgarner; and his parents-in-law, Lynn and Frances Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Stepp of Texarkana, Arkansas; his sons, Lance (Rhonda Stepp) and Craig (Andrea Hoover); his sisters-in-law, Reggie Bumgarner of Alabama and Linuel Lynn Bumgarner (Audra) of Colt, Arkansas; his sister Linda Montgomery of Memphis; and his grandsons, Braxton Hoover and Dylan Stepp.
