He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Elliot Russell and Evie Ellis; his spouse Emogene James; his children, Regina Haralson and Daniel Baxter Thompson; his grandchildren, Jeani Connolly, Doris Haralson, Russell Haralson of Little Rock and Mary Jean Garris; his great grandchild Cynthia Durham; and his great great grandchildren, Karson Pavick of Texarkana and Ameila Adcock of Alpine.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Beech Street First Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
