He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Birdwell and Ophia Birdwell; and his grandson Justin McCrary. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Birdwell; his pet Trixie; his daughters, Valynda Birdwell and Valarie; his son-in-law Stephen Cross; his brothers, Larry Birdwell (Virginia) and Terry Birdwell (Mary); and his grandchildren, Dakota McCrary and Maranda Cigainero. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild due any day and a host of other relatives and friends.
