He is survived by: his son David Shute; his daughter-in-law Kelly Shute of Texarkana; his grandchildren, Michele Shute of Grand Prairie, Kimberly McDaniel and Braden McDaniel of New Boston; his great grandchildren, Cannon McDaniel and Connor McDaniel of New Boston; his sister Rosaland Shaw of Texarkana; and his close friend Patsy Green of Texarkana.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hiram and Inez Shute Scholarship Fund at the First Baptist Church, New Boston, 506 South McCoy Blvd., New Boston, Texas 75570.
