She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Spears; her parents, Jim Sims and Mattie Sims; and her brother James Sims. She is survived by: her son Gary Spears of Texarkana; her children-in-law, Nancy Spears of Texarkana and Sandy Smith of Texarkana; and also, Connie Rowe and David Rowe of Texarkana. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
