With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Greg Swan of Texarkana, Arkansas, born in Ashdown, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Greg leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Greg may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Murphy Swan of Texarkana, Arkansas; his children, Clint Swan of Lufkin, Lee Swan (Linda) and Staci Nix (Kelly) of Horatio; his stepchildren, Jason Rayburn (Brooke) of Ft. Bragg and Angie McKay (Greg) of Texarkana; and his brother Damon Swan (Loretta) of Tyler. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel (4801 Parkway Dr, Texarkana, AR 71854). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Ida Cemetery.
