He was predeceased by: his wife Bertha Wilson; his parents, W. C. Wilson and Bertie Wilson; and his siblings, Carl Edward Wilson, Patsy White and Faye Welch.
He is survived by: his son George Bracey Wilson, Jr. (Brooke) of Haughton, LA; his brothers, Charlie Wilson (Lynn) of Bastrop, LA and Dale Wilson of Texarkana, AR; and his caregiver Donna Cox. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
