He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Wilkes and Bessie Young; and his stepson Jeremey Pruett. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Wilkes of Texarkana, Arkansas; his daughter Mandy; his son-in-law Todd Kimery of Louisville, Kentucky; his stepchildren, Amanda (Andrew Smith) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Cheney (Mindi Pruett) of Texarkana; and his sisters, Pat Flanagan, Kay Spigner and Donna Hughes. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
