He is survived by: his wife Barbara Freedman Garrett; his sons, Randal Franklin and Keith Garrett of Texarkana; his stepchildren, Amy Freedman of Texarkana, Terry Thomas of Texarkana, Dana Huber of Berryville, Virginia, Eric Payne of Texarkana and Tony Payne of Texarkana; his grandchildren, Jonathan Randal Garrett, Nicholas Christian Garrett, Bruce Garrett, Lauren Garrett and Morgan Thomas; his sister Maydell Mangus of Ridgecrest; his cousin Bobbie Warren of Texarkana, Texas; and his nieces and nephews, Charles David Mangus of Oklahoma City, David Woodul of Lake Arrowhead, Javanna Wiley of Ridgecrest California and Rebecca Fults of Palmdale, California..
