It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Mae McCurry (Texarkana, Arkansas), born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 24, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Buckner and Ada Lee Thurman Smith; her husband Henry Larkin McCurry; and her son William Larkin McCurry (Bill). She is survived by: her daughter Larka Lee (Michael Parks); her daughter-in-law Brenda McCurry; and her grandchildren, Michael McCurry (Jennifer), Stephanie Poe (Donald), Russell McCurry (Lizzie), Michael Parks (Candice) and James Parks (Sarah). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, and 8 great, great grandchildren.
