She was predeceased by: her sister Shelia Harris. She is survived by: her nephew Russell A Traylor; her son Jamel Traylor of Tupelo, MS; her siblings, Russell, Robert, Rev. Rozell Jr. (Letitia), Phillip Nelson, Kenyon, Rolandis Chapmon, Monica, Patricia, Sandra and Mechelle; her uncle Bobby Jones; her aunts, Neva S Carey, Mittie Matthews, Dorothy Smith and Melba Richardson; and her cousin Shaundrea Howell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Her contributions to UIL soprano sections for Texas High and participation in local, regional, and state ensembles highlighted her love for music and her commitment to excellence.
