He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlies Levi Garner and Alta Estell Garner (Mouser); his wife Lanetta Garner; his siblings, Charles Garner, Jr., Robert Garner, Marie Edington and Wanda Louise Garner; and his great grandchild Phenyx Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Garner of Texarkana, Arkansas, Malinda Stone (Duncan) of Lee's Summit, Frances Howze (Ronald) of Fouke, Arkansas and Glenda Neff of Queen City, Texas; his sister Sylvia Fowler of Magnolia, Arkansas; his goddaughter Susannah Christian (Jason) of Texarkana, Texas; and his grandchildren, David Howze (Tina), Amanda Adams, Sarah Harwell (Brandon) and Joseph Neff (Liz). He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
