He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cassie Davenport, Sr. and Alpha Swint Davenport; his wife Melba Davenport; his son John Casey Davenport III; and his great grandchildren, Kipp and Koda McCatherine.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Littlejohn (Chris); his grandchildren, Casey McCatherine (Kalee), Kyle McCatherine (Keely), Katelyn Taylor (Trey) and Colton McCatherine (Lisa); and his great grandchildren, Kaiden McCatherine, Karter McCatherine, Knox McCatherine, Brian McCatherine, Jax Taylor, Robbie, Piper McGuinness, Tripp and Paisley Mathews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Texarkana Funeral Home (4801 Parkway Dr, Texarkana, AR 71854). A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Harmony Grove Cemetery (6898 Line Ferry Rd, Texarkana, AR 71854).
