She was predeceased by: her parent Elzy Carter Jr.; and her niece Michelle Foster. She is survived by: her mother Betty Shephard Carter; her children, Jimmy Isley (Ashley), Justin Isley (Crystal), Melissa Carter (Cody) and Destiny Harvel; and her siblings, Jimmy Shephard, Tommy Carter, Sue Carter and Deborah Palmer. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren along with a host of other nieces, nephew, family and friends.
