It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Autrey Edward Cates Sr. of Texarkana, Arkansas, who passed away on April 28, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Claude Wayne Cates; and his siblings, Donald Cates, Joyce Moore, Nancy Rayburn and Mary Pruitt.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Cates (LaShun) and Patsy Minor (Les); and his brother Johnny Cates (Gayle). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
