It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Lee Broomfield of Texarkana, Arkansas, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Annie Lee departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Annie Lee. Though Annie Lee may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Wimley and Essie Lee Wimley. She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Trammel of Conway, AR and Michael Dewayne Trammel, Jr. of Cartersville, GA; and her sisters, Lettie M. McGee of Texarkana, AR, Willie M. Hannah of Texarkana, AR, Bettye B. Wimley of Texarkana, AR and Essie L. Weekly of Pflugerville, Texas. She is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lyles Funeral Home Memorial Chapel (3809 E Broad St, Texarkana, AR 71854). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
