She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Higdon and Lucy Lynn Higdon; her husband Charles Chesshir; and her siblings, Cleola Gaulden, Doris Harris, Marion "Sonny" Higdon and Wayne Higdon.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Lynn Martin (Steve) of Taylor, AR, Gega Renee Smith (Mark) of Taylor, AR and Jeffrey Guy Chesshir of Taylor, AR; and her sisters, Shirley Haire of Lewisville, AR and Diane Fletcher of Lewisville, AR. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Taylor Sports Complex fund.
