It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vesta O'Rene Powell of Taylor, Arkansas, who passed away on September 29, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John William and Ada Watson Caswell; her son James A. Powell, Jr.; her grandchildren, Kevin and Jamie Powell; her great grandchild Cody Taylor; and her brother Elton Caswell.
She is survived by: her son Joe Franklin Powell (Florine) of Taylor, AR; her daughter-in-law Tina Braley Powell of Sarepta; her grandchildren, Tawnya Souter, Robin Wynne (Jermie), Crystal Lewis (Jason), Hollie Baker (Mike), Shawn Powell, Terry Vickers (Margie) and Kathy Buehlar (Terry); and her sister Celessie DeLoach. She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
