He is survived by: his wife Evelyn G Simpson (Whaley) of Taylor; his children, Debra Jean Nunley (John F.) of Cheyenne, Sherry Lynn Hill (Curtis) of Ankeny, Iowa and Jerry Don Simpson (Lisa) of Broomfield, Colorado; his grandchildren, Stephanie Pickering (Nick), Melissa Ragon (Dustin), John F. Nunley IV of Cheyenne, Jessica Krueger (Dustin), Chris Hill (Emma) of Ankeny, Tyler Simpson (Brittany) of Lakeville and Cole Simpson (Lorena) of Des Moines, Iowa; his great grandchildren, Mason, Hunter Krueger, Elliott, Ezra Simpson, Emmit Pickering, Olivia and Declan Ragon; his sister Kathy Pennington of Onalaska, Texas; and his aunt Ella Mae Strickland. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and cousins.
