He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Marlar and Myrtle Marlar (Madlock); his former wife Linda Henderson Marlar; his siblings, Louise Cole and Chester Marlar; and his great grandchild Zoie Pennington.
He is survived by: his wife Sidalia Marlar; his daughter Mandy Johnson of Magnolia, Arkansas; his stepdaughter Ragina McDaniel (Wesley) of Taylor, Arkansas; his brothers, Thomas Marlar (Pat) of Bossier City and Arthur Marlar (Carolyn) of Buckner, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Heather Pennington (Nathan) of Rosston, Arkansas, Andy Guidry of Magnolia and Roger Guidry (Kellie) of Williston. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
