Virginia Swan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2024, at the age of 87, Virginia Swan of Swifton, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Toliver Ross and Bessie Mae Ross (Tatum); her husband Arthur Andrew Swan, Jr.; her daughter Patricia Ann Looney; and her siblings, Ernest Ross and Elwanda Hardin.
She is survived by: her son Ricky Swan (Kathy) of Newport; her son-in-law Steve Looney of Oil Trough; her grandchildren, Zack Swan (Heather) of Newport, Tyler Swan of Possum Grape and Brittany Sullins (Erik) of Honolulu, Hawaii; her great great grandchildren, Addisen Sullins, Emily Swan and Hudson Wade Swan; and her brother Marvin Ross of Newport.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jackson's Newport Funeral Home (1900 Malcolm Ave, Newport, AR 72112). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at the Swifton Cemetery.
