With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Faye Slagley of Swifton, Arkansas, born in Corning, Arkansas, who passed away on October 16, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Odis Jones; her husband Shelby Dee Slagley; her children, Joseph Slagley and Marjorie Ferguson; her siblings, Odell Jones and Brenda Baker; her son-in-law John Parks; and her mother Margie Gilmore (Richey).
She is survived by: her children, Robert Slagley (Penny) of Swifton and Regeania Parks of Swifton; her sister Doris Jordan of Myrtle, Mississippi; her son-in-law David Ferguson of Charlotte; and her grandchildren, Michael Allen, Mark Allen, Eric See, Jenny Lyons, Sammy Ferguson, Robby K. Slagley, Matthew Slagley and Mandy LeCure. She is also survived by twenty one great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
