He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore and Della Dodd (Kramer); the mother of his children Brenda Dodd (Wilson); his daughter Christina Wickham (Dodd); his brother Rudy Dodd; and his stepson Chris Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ellen Dodd (Smith) of Swifton; his son Roger Dodd, Jr. (Kendra) of Lake St; his stepdaughter Shelly Marie Smith of Swifton; his siblings, Dwain Dodd of Swifton, Steven Dodd (Melissa) of Swifton, Glenda Turns (Chuck) of Bossier City and Sandra Eidemiller (Don) of Kansas City, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Lucia Graham, Lucas Graham, Jayden Douglas, Jesse Dodd, Mason Nash, Sierra Dodd, Kadin Dodd, Dylon Harrington and Cody Mann. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
