He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Reed and Ida Reed (Davidson); his wife Wanda Lou Reed (Mitts); his son Billy Wayne Reed; his granddaughter Misty Dawn Reed Lane; and his siblings, Harlin Reed, Mitchell Reed, Cole Reed, Tan Reed, Willie Huskey, Nova Kinder and Georgia Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Wayne Reed (Ivoughn) of Newport and Suzanne Reed Owens (Gary) of Swifton; his daughter-in-law Pat Reed; and his grandchildren, Chris Reed (Lynette) of Swifton and Micheal Reed (Kourtney) of Swifton. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
